Powder Coating 101 -
Basic Essentials with Lab

Jan. 16 & 17, 2017
Atlanta, GA

PCI’s Powder Coating 101 – Basic Essentials Hands-On Workshop will be held at Georgia Power’s Customer Resource Center in Atlanta, GA in January. PCI members from Col-Met, Axalta, Nordson, Engineered Finishing Systems and Fischer Technology will provide instruction for this educational event. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with the speakers at a reception after the first day of class.

This popular workshop is a terrific introduction to the powder coating process. Attendees will gain the basic knowledge needed to understand and implement the different aspects of powder coating. From pretreatment to curing, this day and half course features technical information presented by expert instructor as well as the opportunity to spray powder and cure the part on-site.

Cost: PCI Member $395 / Non-Member $495

Registration includes: Copy of PCI’s Powder Coating Finisher's Handbook, a workbook including the presentation slides, continental breakfast and lunch, a networking reception and certificate of completion.

Powder Coating 202 -
Optimizing Your Powder Operation with Lab

Feb. 7 & 8, 2017
Westland, MI

EXPERIENCE this 2-day hands-on advanced workshop that focuses on in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the powder coating process. This seminar includes hands-on laboratory work along with traditional classroom learning and is conducted by industry experts in an unbiased and commercial-free manner.

PCI member, Parker Ionics will host this class in February. Joining them to lead the instructional course are members from Bulk Chemicals, George Koch Sons, Gema USA and TQC – USA, Inc. Attendees will receive advanced technical information on the complete powder coating process, including quality control and testing methods. They will also have ample time in the lab to spray parts, set up automatic and manual guns and test their skills during an application contest.
