The Crown Group Earns Recognition as a John Deere Supplier of the Year and Partner-level Supplier

The Crown Group Waterloo Plant has been officially recognized as a John Deere Supplier of the Year for 2015. The presentation of the award will take place during formal ceremonies in April.
Also, for the third consecutive year, The Crown Group Waterloo Plant has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2015 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. The Warren, Mich.-based company was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and services of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement. Company employees accepted the recognition during ceremonies held December 15, 2015, in Bettendorf, Iowa.

The Crown Group is a supplier of coating services to John Deere’s Tractor Cab and Assembly Operations in Waterloo, Iowa.
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
The Crown Group is a supplier of coating services, logistic solutions, and assembly operations to the agricultural, transportation, military, and architectural markets. The Crown Group currently operates 10 coating facilities in the United States.
