Sad news - Passing of PCI Hall of Fame Member
It saddens us today to inform you of the death of Donald S. Tyler.
Earlier this year, Don was inducted into PCI’s Hall of Fame. He was a member of PCI’s founding Board of Directors, working for many years on the Board and with various committees. He began his career in the powder industry as a formulator. In the 1980s, during his role as General Manager at Volstatic, Don was responsible for developing a relationship with Trevisan and introducing the first quick color change powder booth – the ColorSPEEDER. It was fully demonstrated at The Powder Coating Shows in the late 1980s. It was very successful and helped to further the growth of powder coatings.
Don was devoted to the growth of PCI and the powder coating industry, which we greatly appreciate. We offer our deepest condolences to his family.
