Parker Ionics,
Westland, Mich.,
announced the
addition of Travis
Johnson as director
of marketing,
effective May 1st, 2014. Johnson
brings a range of automotive
aftermarket sales, marketing
and product development with
a specialty in custom wheels.
Originally from Seattle, Wash.,
Travis located to Michigan in
2010 to develop FORMULA
43, a custom aftermarket wheel
manufacturer for high-end sports
and racing cars. Along with
marketing, Travis will lead the
effort to develop innovative new
products and methods for powder
application technology for OE
and aftermarket automotive
wheels. His first task will be
launching a new website for
Parker Ionics detailing its
products and parts.
Minneapolis-based Midway
Industrial Supply Inc. (MIS)
has hired Patrick Hoolihan as
president and CEO. Hoolihan
succeeds Gregg Lien, the former
owner and prior president and
CEO of MIS. Lien will continue to
be involved in MIS and will focus
on strategic growth projects, and
providing counsel to Hoolihan
and the board of directors. The
rest of the existing management
team will continue operating the
business.
At ECOAT14, Henkel Adhesive
Technologies’ Surface
Treatment Group’s Terry Giles,
globalbusiness development
manager, received the 2014
Brewer Award. Giles has been
at Henkel for 33 years, holding
various positions in R&D,
technical service, marketing and
business development. In his
current position, he is responsible
for introducing new technology to
the global marketplace.

in Plymouth, Mich., announces
that Steve Romer, senior systems
applications engineer is rejoining
its organization. He
will be working as a member
of the company’s general
industrial systems sales team.
Steve has more than 44 years of
industrial finishing experience
in the design, development
and practical application of
automated industrial painting
systems. He provides expertise
in coatings application, system
design, application tools and
process optimization. Steve’s
career includes almost 30 years
with Kremlin and EXEL North
America.

for wood business. The new logo
enforces DVUV’s identity and
