Room Temp Pretreatment

The Plaforization and Toran processes are one-step, no heat, no water, no waste pretreatment for metal. The process degreases and passivates simultaneously; operates at room temperature in a single step; can simultaneously treat mild steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and other metals in one dip or flowcoat operation; converts the metal surface by deposition of an inorganic phosphate layer, in the case of Plaforization, sealed by a specially-formulated organic polyphosphate. With Toran the polymer resin itself provides the passivation.
